60’s inspirations at late night

It ‘s midnight and darkness is king in this cold November night, around me just a sweet silence and the dim light of the abat-jour, the world has stopped… But I do not, sleep is hard and I think and think again, fantasies, memories, dreams… I need an idea! Walking back and forth, the old parquet creaks and I still have not my idea, sometimes it goes like that! A fantastic project in my hands but nothing in the head!

I feel a bit as that director who wanted to make a movie, but his creative spirit had weakened, he lacked the idea! Instead he did not know that the solution to his problems was right there, under his nose… I’m speaking of him, Guido Anselmi, star of the famous Fellini’s film 8 ½, and I will start my idea from there, I will inspire me to that fantastic 60s taste!

E’ mezzanotte e l’oscurità fa da padrone a questa fredda notte di novembre, intorno a me solo un dolce silenzio e la luce fioca dell’abat-jour, il mondo si è fermato… Ma io no, il sonno è poco e io penso e ripenso, fantasie, ricordi, sogni… Mi serve un’idea! Passeggio avanti e in dietro, il vecchio parquet scricchiola e io non ho ancora la mia idea, a volte va così! Un fantastico progetto tra le mani ma nulla per la testa!!

Mi sento un po’ come quel regista che voleva fare un film ma il suo spirito creativo si era spento, gli mancava l’idea! Invece non sapeva che la soluzione ai suoi problemi stava proprio lì, sotto i suoi occhi… Si parlo di lui, Guido Anselmi, protagonista del celebre film di Fellini 8½, e sarà da lì che partirà la mia idea, m’ispirerò a quel fantastico gusto anni ’60!
