All I Need is a Retro Look

The nostalgia, a feeling so human and intense, as the passions to which it is linked… It’s strange to start the week talking about a state of mind not just positive, but in these days of December and Christmas getting closer and closer I become a bit nostalgic! Maybe because it’s the most intense period of the year, where a sea of ​​emotions overwhelms me, emotions that sometimes play tricks others instead reserve us good surprises. Perhaps because in those cold evenings spent in front of the fireplace I like to fantasize and remember… Or perhaps because I’ll be sorry to leave this fantastic 2013, with all its flaws! Everyone will have his reasons and I have mine today, an image that has captured my attention, whispering to me of those far-off days, of laugh in Parisian cafes, of black and white, of a gramophone playing love songs, of a timeless taste, retro and stylish, just as I like! It has awakened my hidden passions and sparked nostalgia for those times and their unforgettable style that I would have really wish to live!

La nostalgia, un sentimento tanto umano ed intenso quanto le passioni a cui è legata… Strano iniziare la settimana parlando di uno stato d’animo non proprio positivo, eppure in questi giorni di Dicembre, con il Natale sempre più vicino, io divento un po’ nostalgica! Forse perché è il periodo dell’anno più intenso, in cui un mare di emozioni mi travolge, emozioni che a volte giocano brutti scherzi altre invece ci riservano belle sorprese. Forse perché in quelle fredde sere passate davanti al camino mi piace fantasticare e ricordare… O forse ancora perché mi dispiacerà lasciare questo fantastico 2013 con tutti quei difetti! Ognuno avrà le sue ragioni e io oggi ho la mia, un’immagine che ha catturato la mia attenzione, sussurrandomi di tempi lontani, di risate nei caffè parigini, di bianco e nero, di un grammofono che suonava canzoni d’amore, di un gusto senza tempo, retrò e raffinato come piace a me!  Ha risvegliato le mie passioni nascoste e suscitato tanta nostalgia per quei tempi e il loro stile indimenticabile che avrei tanto voluto vivere!
