There are those memories that remain forever, like diamonds, or perhaps more because their value is priceless and the emotion was unique, they remain etched in your memory as the first love… I’ve always loved the Vintage because behind every piece there is just that, a story that tells of memories and emotions, of past ages and old passions. There are those who love to collect them, those who wear them, who does not understand them, and then there’s that little shop in Paris, one of many that can be found in the Marais, more or less behind the BHV, It is like the others, I’ve thought, but I entered, and I found myself in front of that wall-showcase of vintage bags, the most beautiful and finest I have ever seen!

“I have to have one at least!” I thought… Greedy or naive?? I will never forget that “Wall” and even the fair face of the owner, he answered me with a pride and annoyed air ” They are not for sale, you can only admire!”

Ci sono quei ricordi che restano per sempre, come i diamanti, o forse di più perché il loro valore non ha prezzo e l’emozione è stata unica, ti restano impressi nella memoria come il primo amore… Ho sempre amato il Vintage perché dietro ad ogni pezzo c’è proprio questo, una storia che racconta di ricordi ed emozioni, di epoche lontane ed antiche passioni. C’è chi ama collezionarli, chi indossarli, chi non li capisce e poi c’è quel negozietto a Parigi uno dei tanti che si trovano nel Marais, più o meno all’altezza del BHV, non gli daresti due soldi eppure io sono entrata, e mi son ritrovata davanti a quel muro-vetrina di borse vintage, le più belle e pregiate che avessi mai visto!

“Ne devo avere almeno una!” pensai… Esosa o ingenua??? Non dimenticherò mai quel “Muro” e nemmeno la faccia fiera del proprietario quando mi rispose con aria orgogliosa e seccata “Non sono in vendita, si possono solo ammirare!”
